Elon Musk trolls Trudeau, calls him “girl” as Canadian PM tries to counter Trump’s 51st State remark - The showdown over the US-Canada merger got ‘uglier’ on January 08 with Elon Musk calling Canadian PM Justin Trudeau a “girl”. Musk’s swipe at Trudeau came after he rejected Trump's idea of using “economic force” for Canada to become a US state. Taking to ‘X’ Trudeau furiously dismissed Donald Trump’s pitch to merge Canada with the US and make it the 51st US state. Commenting on Trudeau’s post, Trump’s DOGE pick Musk took a swipe at Trudeau and said “Girl, you’re not the governor of Canada anymore”. Earlier, while addressing a media in Mar-a-Lago, Trump said he would use “economic force” against Canada and called the border as ‘artificial line’. For months now, Trump has said that he wants to merge US and Canada while threatening to impose 25% tariff on imports from Canada.
