J&K: World Craft Council delegates visit Srinagar for conference to promote Kashmiri handicrafts

J&K: World Craft Council delegates visit Srinagar for conference to promote Kashmiri handicrafts - Delegates from the World Craft Council (WCC) arrived in Srinagar to engage with local artisans. They attended a two-day international conference aimed at promoting Kashmir’s art and craft. Known for its intricate craftsmanship, Kashmir’s handicrafts faced setbacks over the past 3 decades due to marketing and demand challenges. To support artisans, the Department of Handicrafts and Handlooms initiated craft safari tours and organized exhibitions. The WCC delegates will visit craft centers and witness live demonstrations, including the famous Kashmiri Pashmina shawl production. The international conference will begin on November 26 at the Sher-Kashmir International Conference Center. #srinagar #worldcraft #wccdelegates Join ANI's YouTube membership to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtFQDgA8J8_iiwc5-KoAQlg/join Subscribe now and press the bell icon 🔔 to get new video updates: https://bit.ly/2UV4ygi -------------------------------------- ANI is South Asia's leading Multimedia News Agency providing content for every information platform, including TV, Internet, broadband, newspapers, and mobiles.
