“How will women benefit…”: Congress MLA alleges irregularities in BJP’s ‘Subhadra Yojna’ scheme - Congress Leader Sofia Firdous on September 2 expressed dismay over the alleged irregularities on Subhadra Yojna. While speaking to ANI, she alleged that there are irregularities in the scheme, in which the beneficiaries are getting the amount in instalments. “We have been constantly protesting against the Subhadra Yojana. Under this Yojana, the BJP’s election manifesto promised benefits for all women under Subhadra Yojana, including Rs 50,000 over two years. But now, the scheme has been broken into providing financial assistance in two instalments of Rs 5,000 every year for over five years. How will the women benefit from it?...
