Speaking about ‘Chandu Champion’, Kabir Khan said, “My casting decision has never been based on what actors have already done, I don’t want to repeat what they have already done. Kartik had all the elements I needed for Chandu Champion.” Kartik Aaryan said, “The prep was very hard for the film full of struggle and discomfort. I never thought I would do something related to swimming nor did I think of doing something related to boxing.
